This Privacy Policy describes how AIRECRUITOR (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information when you use our website and Services. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & Contact Data: name, email, organization details, role, and preferences.
- Usage Data: log data, device information, browser type, pages visited, session metadata, and cookies or similar technologies.
- Content You Provide: resumes, JD data, interview questions/answers, and other materials you upload or generate while using AI features.
- Payment Data: billing details and limited payment information (processed by our payment providers—AIRECRUITOR does not store card details).
- Google Identity Data (when you connect Google): your primary Google Account email and basic profile info shown by Google during consent. If you enable email sending, we request the minimal scope required to send email on your behalf.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and user experience.
- Operate AI features and generate outputs you request.
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
- Personalize features, measure performance, and conduct analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- If you connect Google: authenticate your account, show your email/profile in-product, and—only when you explicitly trigger it—send email on your behalf (e.g., onboarding emails). We do not use Google user data for advertising or resale and do not sell Google user data.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, secure your session, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies via your browser settings, but disabling them may impact functionality.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
- Service Providers: hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment partners that help us deliver the Services under contractual safeguards.
- Legal & Compliance: to comply with law, enforce Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or similar transaction, subject to confidentiality and applicable law.
- Google User Data: we do not sell or share Google user data with third parties for advertising. Access is limited to providing the features you enable (e.g., sending an email you request).
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with encryption at rest. Access to connected-account data is restricted and logged.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we implement safeguards consistent with applicable laws for cross-border transfers.
8. Your Rights

- Revoke Google access: you can remove AIRECRUITOR’s access anytime from your Google Account security settings.
- Delete your AIRECRUITOR account: request deletion and we will remove associated data, subject to legal requirements.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us for deletion.

The Services may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.

14. Google Account & Email Access
Certain features allow you to connect your Google Account. When you do so, we request only the minimum scopes needed to provide those features, such as authentication (OpenID Connect) and, if you explicitly enable it, permission to send email on your behalf.
- What we access: your primary Google Account email and basic profile info shown by Google during consent. If you enable email sending, we use the Gmail sending scope solely to compose and send messages you trigger within AIRECRUITOR.
- How we use it: to authenticate you, show your email in-product, and perform the specific action you request (e.g., send an onboarding email). We do not use Google user data for advertising and do not sell Google user data.
- Storage & security: data is transmitted via HTTPS and stored with encryption at rest. Access is limited to personnel who need it to operate these features.
- Sharing: we do not share Google user data with third parties for marketing or advertising. We may share only as necessary with service providers under contract to deliver the feature, or as required by law.
- Your choices: you can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account security settings. You may also request deletion of your AIRECRUITOR account to remove associated data, subject to legal requirements.
